What we believe

We are a church that is on about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The 'Gospel' is just a way of saying 'Good News'. Jesus is our good news. In the Bible, we hear how Jesus is 'Good News'. He came to save us from sin and separation from God. He is now risen as Lord and calls us to come and follow him. At our church, we long to grow in the knowledge of Jesus and see others come to saving faith in him and follow him.

We love the Redlands. We want to see people right around the Redlands come to know Jesus. So, we want to invite you to come and join us as we discover more about Jesus and grow to be more like him.

Confession of faith

A longer version of what we believe is found in what is known as the Westminster Confession of Faith. This confession is a summary of the bible's teaching. It comes out of the Protestant Reformation.

Key elements in this Confession are the sovereignty of God in creation, providence and redemption, the centrality of the Gospel - that is the life, death and resurrection of the God-Man Jesus Christ in God’s purposes, and the necessity of the Holy Spirit in the application of all aspects of salvation. It also highlights the nature and purpose of the Church, and the need to acknowledge the Lordship of Christ in every area of life.
