sundays: What to expect

We meet every Sunday at Redlands Presbyterian to worship God together and to hear from the Bible, God's word. This looks a little different in each of our four services, but at each one you will find some time for singing songs about God, praying to him, Bible reading and preaching from those passages.

We highly value teaching the Bible faithfully. Our weekly sermons are expository in style, engaging in presentation, and practical in application. We strive to regularly work through books of the Old and New Testament, as well as, having short topical series. Our current series is on the Gospel of Matthew and we will soon move onto the book of Daniel.

There are two locations with varying services and styles. Let us give you a quick introduction.

CAPALABA - 74 Lyndon Road, Capalaba

Early Church: At 8:30am, it's a relaxed and friendly service with a cosy feel. It features contemporary music and has an excellent kids church (run parallel to the service).

10:30 Church: Held at 10:30am, it's our larger service and caters for a wider demographic. Friendly and full, it also features contemporary music and an excellent kids church (run parallel to the service).

Night Church: The 5:00pm service is popular with youth and young adults, but includes a wide demographic. Featuring the latest worship songs and a laidback format, it's a friendly introduction to church for first-timers. There is no kids church but kids are most welcome!

Kids Church

Held weekly during our Capalaba morning services, Kids Church is a fun and engaging way for kids to learn more about God and the Bible. Interactive lessons feature songs, crafts and stories to help kids understand a little bit more about themselves, the world and God through the teachings of the Bible.

VICTORIA POINT - 164 Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point

Held at 8:30am, it's a traditional Presbyterian service featuring classic hymns and a more formal structure. Its members are warm, friendly and generally over 60 years old.
