Redlands Youth aims to be a place for young people to meet with Jesus, and grow with each other in knowing and showing Jesus.
We're on about building a community of Christian teens that love learning about Jesus and enjoy hanging out together. We're passionate about discipleship and seek to create an environment where genuine, real relationships can flourish.
Redlands Youth is for young people in Grades 7 - 12 and runs every Friday night during the school term from 7pm-9pm.
Our time together begins with all-in games suited to a variety of personalities. We believe that sharing these fun experiences together is key to building lasting relationships.
After our games, we hear a short talk from the Bible which is aimed specifically at youth and is relevant to the passages we study together in Small Groups.
Our Small Groups follow the Bible Talk, and are the place for us to grow deeper in our understanding of God's Word. Teens will be in a small group with the same leaders and similar-age youth each week to create real, lasting relationships, and provide a safe place to ask questions and seek answers in God's Word, the Bible.
Redlands Youth aims to provide a fun, comfortable, safe and open environment in which young people can have the freedom to discuss topics relevant to their lives. Our leaders all have up-to-date Blue Cards and police checks, training in PresSafe (our denomination's Childsafe requirements), and meet weekly as a team where they are trained and equipped to teach God's word better and care for the teens in their Small Groups.
